PROGRAM HANDOUTS
All-Star Baseball offers
off-season Hitting and Pitching programs. These programs are by invitation only and are designed to enhance the
physical skill level and mental approach players, as well as prepare you to have success at the high school and/or collegiate
level. Last year combined, over 240 players ages 10-18 participated in this off-season program and
the improvement made was outstanding! Players will be assigned by age and ability level in groups of three for hitting and groups of four
for pitching. They will participate in weekly one-hour sessions beginning in October for high school athletes, and November
for youth league players. All players must be committed to the entire program.
All-Star Baseball Clinics will continue to utilize Right View Pro® (www.rightviewpro.com) and standard video analysis to enhance the development of our
students. Technology, combined with the right drill processes and hard work will make this off-season a
very productive one.
If you would like to be considered for these programs, please contact Jeff Doland
at (303) 726-5106 for hitting or Wayne Doland at (303) 594-3105 for pitching. If you are interested in both programs,
we will make every attempt to schedule you on the same night for both skills.
Off-Season Hitting Program Policies: Players are expected to
complete the entire five-month program.
Tuition is due at the
first session of each month.
Players and Parents acknowledge
that this program is done in groups and therefore, attendance policies must be enforced in order to ensure fairness to all
participants.
There are NO guaranteed make-up sessions. You will be allowed
to make up a missed session if there is an opening in the program during the same week that you are absent. There
will be no ‘carry over’ lessons given at the end of the program.
The following are exceptions:
- Lessons
cancelled by me due to inclement weather will be made up. -
Lessons that fall on holidays or during the Christmas break will be made-up, except
for our scheduled off week.
Players participating
in football are required to start the program in October. I will work with you on your schedule.
Regardless of attendance, the monthly tuition is the same. Tuition will not be pro-rated.
Players who suffer an injury:
-
If the injury is minor, such as one that forces you to miss a week, you will be
allowed to make up that session if there is a slot open -
If the injury is severe and will keep you from participating for an extended period
of time, I will keep your spot in the program. In order to do this, the player must pay half the monthly
tuition.
Although extremely rare, I may have a qualified substitute teach classes in the
event that I am traveling with a team or if I am ill.
Players should expect to
be challenged both mentally and physically.
Players are expected to keep a journal of their weekly practice activities.
